Dried figs are classified according to size, color, open mouth and close mouth.
Dried figs are divided into groups (PARAK), (AAA), (AA), (A), (B) and (C).
Parak: Fully open and open mouth
AAA: large (about 30 mm)
AA: Medium (23 to 25 mm)
A: Small (18 to 22 mm)
B: Extra small (less than 18 mm)
C: broken, damaged or deformed during collection, transportation and storage (Suitable for industrial use and animal feed)
But with the addition of the sign (+) or (S) or (101) to the above groups, the classification of dried figs takes on new definitions.
+: Refers to the light color of dried figs
S: It means that 10% to 15% of dried figs are open mouth.
101: Means all open mouth.
