Dried figs are classified according to size, color, open mouth and close mouth.

Dried figs are divided into groups (PARAK), (AAA), (AA), (A), (B) and (C).

Parak: Fully open and open mouth

 AAA: large (about 30 mm)

AA: Medium (23 to 25 mm)

 A: Small (18 to 22 mm)

B: Extra small (less than 18 mm)

C: broken, damaged or deformed during collection, transportation and storage (Suitable for industrial use and animal feed)

But with the addition of the sign (+) or (S) or (101) to the above groups, the classification of dried figs takes on new definitions.

+: Refers to the light color of dried figs

S: It means that 10% to 15% of dried figs are open mouth.

101: Means all open mouth.
